We are recruiting a Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) to shape and lead Rapport’s DE&I vision across the UK & Ireland.

This is a maternity cover role, with a unique opportunity to drive innovation and support our people-first strategy.
Type of contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 2 days from home and 3 days from the office)
Location: Rapport Head Office, 20 Red Lion Street, London WC1R 4PS (with travel required across the UK & Ireland)

Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead and deliver Rapport’s DE&I strategy, aligning with business goals
- Influence policy and learning frameworks to promote inclusion
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on DE&I initiatives and priorities
- Ensure ambassadors feel supported in light of global and cultural events
Talent & Development
- Partner with HR, Recruitment, and L&D to attract and retain diverse talent
- Design and deliver impactful training across all levels
- Ensure equal opportunities and access to career progression
- Work closely with operational leaders to embed inclusive practices into day-to-day delivery
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- Support and guide Employee Resource Networks (ERNs)
- Lead DEI roundtables, help shape agendas and annual network calendars
- Represent Rapport at events, forums, and in client proposals and tenders
- Lead and project manage events and initiatives alongside network leads and events teams
Data-Driven Impact
- Define and track DE&I success metrics, ensuring transparency and improvement
- Use data and research to drive strategy and report on impact
- Manage DE&I budget, provide quarterly reporting on forecast vs actuals
- Support DE&I content creation and social media presence in partnership with our communications team
The Ideal Candidate Will
- Be a natural relationship builder and networker
- Bring proven experience in the DE&I field, ideally in a client-facing or corporate, customer service or hospitality environment
- Be confident influencing at all levels, including senior leadership
- Demonstrate strong project management and communication skills
- Understand current legislation and trends in DE&I
- Use data effectively to guide strategy and measure outcomes
- Be experienced in leading training and working with employee resource groups
