As part of our enhanced property and asset services strategy, we are focused on improving the daily experience of everyone who interacts with our buildings — from occupiers to visitors. We are now seeking an experienced and service-driven Building Manager to join our professional team at a premium multi-let office site in central Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Building Manager who thrives on delivering high standards and creating a welcoming, well-managed environment. With a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence, the successful candidate will oversee the daily running of the building, lead front-of-house services, and maintain the highest standards of appearance, compliance, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a hospitality-led welcome experience, working closely with the Concierge team to ensure a professional and memorable arrival for visitors and occupiers.
- Oversee a robust maintenance programme to ensure comfort, reliability, and compliance. Conduct regular inspections and proactively address any building issues.
- Build strong relationships with occupiers, handling queries, gathering feedback, and identifying ways to enhance service delivery and tenant satisfaction.
- Monitor building energy usage and performance, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support the adoption of smart building technologies.
- Manage on-site contractor activities, ensuring all safety, insurance, and operational standards are met.
- Oversee visitor protocols and contribute to a welcoming, professional atmosphere at reception. Champion continuous improvements to the front-of-house experience.
- Develop a sound understanding of the building’s occupancy profile and leasing arrangements. Manage services within budget parameters and support long-term asset value.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities or building management in a corporate multi-let office setting.
- Background in hospitality or customer service, with a focus on attention to detail and service quality.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- IT literate (MS Office); open to learning and using new systems.
- Engineering/M&E knowledge would be a strong advantage.
- Flexible, proactive, and a strong team player.
What’s on Offer:
- A permanent, full-time role with IPUT Real Estate Dublin.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
- A professional and inclusive team environment.
- A people-first, service-driven approach to facilities management.
If you’re passionate about creating exceptional workplace environments and want to be part of a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.
