Guest Services Ambassador

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Guest Services Ambassador to join our Rapport team of 7 individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds who are passionate about delivering a high level of customer service to our client and all of their visitors.

As a Guest Services Ambassador, your primary responsibility is to warmly welcome guests, to assist with booking meetings in our client suite, to liaise with hospitality and catering for the meetings and to direct guests to their boardroom on arrival.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent 

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM)

Main responsibilities

  • Register all visitors upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Answer and direct the calls coming in via the switchboard.
  • Assist with general reception queries, providing helpful and professional responses.
  • Take new bookings for the client suite and liaise between the client and catering services, maintenance services and cleaning services.
  • Ensure smooth running order of events on the day in the client suites.
  • Conduct regular floor walks and boardroom checks to ensure they are well-maintained and ready for the next meeting.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional front-of-house environment.
  • Support client events as required by the business.
  • Collaborate effectively with partner teams to foster a unified “one team” service approach.

The ideal candidate will

  • Preferably have previous reception or front-of-house experience, ideally within a corporate or luxury environment.
