Guest Service Concierge - Part-time - Salford Quays

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Guest Services Concierge to join our Rapport team, based in Salford Quays Manchester. Working as a solo receptionist, but within a team of 6 ambassadors.

You’ll oversee the front-of-house operations on the ground floor, greeting visitors upon arrival, coordinating check-ins, managing administrative duties, and ensuring a welcoming lobby environment. This is located in one of our busiest buildings, so perfect for someone looking for a highly dynamic and customer engaging role.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 8 per week (Every Friday on a shift rota basis between 8 AM and 7 PM)

Main responsibilities

  • Provide each guest with a warm, professional welcome, ensuring they feel recognised and valued from the moment they arrive. All interactions should consistently embody the brand’s standards and values.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the building’s facilities and services to confidently guide, advise, and assist guests with any questions or wayfinding needs.
  • Ensure all guest and attendee information is accurately pre-registered within the system.
  • Actively follow up on any bookings missing names or essential details to guarantee a smooth arrival experience on the day.
  • Respond to all enquiries and service requests promptly, politely, and efficiently, whether in person, by phone, or via email, providing clear, helpful information aligned with professional expectations.
  • Offer operational support across multiple buildings as required, adapting to evolving demands while maintaining a consistently high standard of service and professionalism at each location.

  • Be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a large team.

  • Show a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service in every interaction.
  • Ideally have previous front-of-house experience in a luxury hotel, premium airline, or corporate environment.
