Job Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Receptionist to join Rapport at our client’s office in Bristol!
This hands-on role is perfect for an energetic people facing person who thrives on taking autonomy over the guest experience. This is a lone working position, therefore there will be a lot of communication and collaboration with different departments, enabling the Corporate Receptionist to create long-lasting relationships with a variety of people.
Type of contract: Full-time, 1-year fixed term contract (Maternity cover)
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; 8 AM – 5 PM)

Main responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the pantry and hospitality services, ensuring meeting rooms are fully stocked and presented to a high standard. Prepare and serve refreshments for meetings, client visits, and internal events, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a professional presentation at all times.
- Act as the first point of contact for the office, managing the reception desk with a professional and welcoming manner.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently, directing them to the appropriate departments while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
- Coordinate the booking, setup, and upkeep of meeting rooms. Ensure rooms are prepared according to requirements, including room layout, and refreshments, and promptly reset rooms between meetings.
- Greet clients, visitors, and VIP guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression of the organisation.
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures, notify hosts of arrivals, and help or guidance as required to ensure a smooth and comfortable visit.
