Receptionist (GWR)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and proactive Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for all guests, clients, and colleagues, this role is key to creating a positive and lasting impression. You’ll be joining a supportive and service-driven team that takes pride in delivering excellence every day.

Our front-of-house team is made up of one dedicated Reception Manager and two full-time Receptionists, all passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. We take great pride in creating a welcoming, professional, and polished environment where every visitor feels valued. With a strong team spirit and a shared commitment to excellence, we consistently strive to uphold the highest standards of service, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.

Type of Contract: Part-time, Permanent

Hours: 32 per week (Monday-Thursday; shift rota basis between 7:30 AM – 7 PM)

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming front-of-house experience for all visitors, clients, and staff.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is always tidy, presentable, and running smoothly.
  • Handle all incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of customer service.
  • Coordinate visitor sign-ins and maintain accurate records in line with security procedures.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to support day-to-day operations.
  • Support meeting room bookings, including setup and coordination of refreshments and equipment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required by the Reception Manager or wider team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service excellence at all time.
