Job Introduction
We are recruiting a Guest Services Host to join our vibrant and friendly Rapport team, based in our Client’s offices in Cork. Our Client is an ever-expanding global American banking and financial services corporation. This is a great opportunity to be a part of the Global alignment initiative while providing an outstanding service all key stakeholders.
This is a stand-alone site from a reception perspective; however, we have another Compass team member in the restaurant space. The successful candidate will report to a Dublin-based Team Leader, who will sporadically visit the site. With 17 amiable and helpful team members distributed throughout the UK and Ireland, the wider team communicates on a daily basis through WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams. Even though we work virtually, the team has a social atmosphere, and we celebrate victories and birthdays together!
This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for overtime as per business needs. The person who takes this role, will benefit from a free on-site parking, close to the airport with an on-site restaurant.
Main responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting all visitors to site
- Working alongside the team to manage the switchboard
- Being involved in staff events from the social aspect to planning and implementing with the office leadership team
- Booking and supporting all meetings and events, using EMS
- Liaising with the catering team regarding all meeting hospitality
- Supporting local office team with ad-hoc administrative duties
- Overseeing all mail room tasks for the Cork office
- Supporting with security pass control and implementation
