Guest Services Host - Catering Assistant

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to assist our Rapport and Restaurant Associates teams in their daily operations. This role is designed to provide a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and skill development. The candidate will engage within various tasks including organizing workflow, communicating among the team members and enhancing overall efficiency of service delivery. Candidate should possess interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and genuine interest in helping others. This temporary role offers valuable experience in collaborative setting, promoting both personal and professional developments.

You’ll be joining a collaborative EMEA team of 24 and continuing to expand. Despite being spread across the region, the team works closely together and is eager to welcome a new member. In this role, you’ll be a vital presence on-site, fostering a positive, engaged workplace community, supporting employee satisfaction, and addressing any day-to-day challenges that arise.

Type of contract: Part-time, Fixed term

Hours: 6 per week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 3-hours per day)

Main responsibilities

  • Assisting with set up of client meeting rooms i.e. ensuring all note pads, pens etc. are always stocked.
  • Checking the rooms before and after each meeting.
  • Assisting with escorting visitors to client meeting rooms.
  • Assisting with preparations for events- i.e. preparing and organizing name badges.
  • Assisting with Out of hours events- escorting, guiding etc.
  • Assisting with Cloakroom management.
  • Supporting the Hospitality team in ensuring the refreshment area at the reception is well always kept neat and tidy.
  • Keeping the Grab & Go fridge stocked up and replenishing any items needed in our Café(s) i.e. coffee cups, spoons etc.
  • Assisting with set up and clearance of Client meeting spaces pre and post meetings with food and beverage elements.

The ideal candidate will

  • Ideally, have at least one year of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced and dynamic establishment (e.g., five-star hotel or corporate environment).
