Job Introduction
We are looking for an Events Supervisor to join the Rapport team in Canary Wharf, supporting our prestigious client.
As an Events Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events to ensure they run smoothly and meet client expectations. This role involves assisting the Events Manager in supervising a team of 4, liaising with vendors and clients, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing any on-site issues that arise.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality events by maintaining strong organisational and leadership skills, while ensuring a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.
Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM with flexibility as per business needs)

Main responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating events from conception to execution, ensuring all logistical elements are in place.
- Engaging with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Upholding health and safety standards at all times, ensuring full compliance with legal and organisational policies.
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers, maintaining strong professional relationships and seamless event delivery.
- Supervising and motivating event staff, monitoring performance and providing on-the-day leadership and support.
- Acting as deputy to the Events Manager, taking full responsibility in their absence to ensure continuity of operations.
