Dedicated Reception/Facilities Cover (APDC)
Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Dedicated Receptionist/Facilities cover to join our Rapport team, based in our client’s offices in London, but occasionally, covering reception desks at a few remote locations within reasonable travel distance.
Our client is one of the biggest tech companies in the world specialising in consumer electronics; manufactures and markets mobile communication and media devices, personal computers, and portable digital music players, and sells a variety of related software and online services, headquartered in California, US. This is a great opportunity to get involved in facilities as well as coordination of Reception.
This role is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday on a shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM, as per the client’s needs. You will be compensated for expenses and travel time.

As a Dedicated Receptionist/Facilities cover you will be working alongside one other team member whom both cover all holiday/absence for the team. All travel time outside of London given in lieu. If covering holiday/long absence in Swindon, you will stay in a nearby hotel rather than travel back and forth. All expenses paid.
Main responsibilities
- Covering the reception desk, performing day-to-day reception and admin duties
- Meeting and greeting clients, visitors and any other key stakeholders
- Managing the meeting room bookings and visitor registration
- Supporting the client with ad-hoc projects
- Liaising with couriers and contractors on site
