Corporate Receptionist

Job Introduction

We’re looking for a professional, organised, and proactive Corporate Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our client's reception. In the role, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for both internal and external clients in our professional yet warm office in the heart of London.

You will be part of a small, two-person team that works closely with the client, providing excellent service for both internal and external guests. due to the size of the team, cooperation, communication, and flexibility are essential for meeting the standard expected by the client. There are times where there is only one team member present, e.g. covering lunches, opening, and closing etc. As such, confidence and the ability to work independently are key. We also have another team of the same size at a separate office that we communicate regularly with, coordinating and sharing information.

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, (Monday–Friday, on a shift rota basis between 7:30 AM – 6 PM)

Main responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
  • Provide light administrative support, including coordinating meeting rooms and preparing printed and bound documents.
  • Organise catering for client meetings using approved catering partners and ensure meeting spaces are fully prepared.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea for guests and the client as part of a high‑quality hospitality service.
  • Support the upkeep of office organisation and monitor stock levels to ensure the front desk operates smoothly.
  • Represent Rapport at all times, embodying the company’s values in every interaction.

  • Previous reception or customer service experience.
