Corporate Receptionist - Edinburgh (AGECR)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Receptionist to join Rapport and be part of one of our innovative and creative Front of House teams at one of our most prestigious client sites in Edinburgh. The offices are situated in the heart of the city and where you will enjoy the most stunning views of Edinburgh from every window. You will be part of a small, dedicated team who are focused on providing excellent customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), working from Monday to Friday on a shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM, with flexibility to cover evening functions.

Main responsibilities

  • Providing excellent service to clients and customers, ensuring all duties are carried out to the highest standard
  • Making the client’s arrival journey seamless and memorable through engagement and innovation
  • Adhering to the Rapport standards when acknowledging and greeting internal and external clients, guests, and visitors
  • Welcoming and escorting guests to meeting rooms, taking coats and luggage as required
  • Proactively dealing with enquiries and requests in person, via the telephone or email, in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining the necessary awareness of building facilities to advise and direct guests appropriately.
  • Assisting with separate registration desks for functions and all aspects of event preparation through to successful delivery as required
  • Working collectively with service partners to achieve a one team approach

The ideal candidate will

  • Be welcoming, energetic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail, excellent in planning, confident, passionate about service and innovation
  • Have excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of the team and create rapport with key stakeholders
  • Possess the ability to create positive and lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike
  • Display operational effectiveness and ensure all standards are adhered to
  • Ideally have at least 1 year of customer service experience within a 5* development or corporate background
