Workplace Service Ambassador (STWSA)

Job Introduction

We are hiring a Workplace Services Ambassador to provide excellent service to clients and customers. 

Our client is a global financial services company where not a single day is the same! It is a forward thinking and modern environment and the beautiful new building is based close the Milton Keynes Central Train Station. The Rapport Team is responsible for the Ground Floor and Executive Floor Receptions as well the internal client floors. 

This is a Permanent, Full Time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts between 7am and 7pm.

Role Responsibility

  • To provide excellent service to internal clients and guests alike, carrying out all duties to the highest of standards.
  • This role specialises in the external client experience, from the ground floor to the meeting room.
  • To be flexible in their approach 
  • Have a full understanding of the building layout to provide an outstanding guide to the details of Guest/Client requests
  • Offer assistance relating to IT setups and hardware
  • Provide a go-to point of contact for all users within the floor to coordinate issues and on-going projects to improve the end user experience
  • Ensure all meeting rooms are clean and set up to the required standards
  • To be ‘hands on’ in approach and proactive.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the overall business environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who has

  • An up-beat individual with integrity and a can-do attitude
  • Strong customer services skills and customer service experience.
  • The ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and always look for innovative ways to improve efficiencies within an office environment.
  • Proven to be self-motivated and work under pressure whilst prioritising key deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and service personnel at a variety of levels by negotiating the best results.
  • The ability to motivate self and others to achieve results at all levels.
  • Proven willingness to learn new skills.
  • Good PC literacy skills and ability to learn internal IT systems.
  • Proven people management skills, relevant experience of customer and client services delivery, results oriented, and proven experience in managing successful teams.
  • To have (once trained) a full understanding of the relevant booking systems and technology used on site to support with the guest journey
  • Enjoys managing my own tasks and responsibilities and working to deadlines to deliver for the people around me.
