Recruitment Coordinator - Hybrid working (HORC)

Job Introduction

We are recruiting a Recruitment Coordinator to be part of the Rapport HR team.

In this role, you will be crucial in organising the recruitment process from the moment a vacancy comes up, through to hiring candidates. This means you will be posting roles, keeping track of vacancies, dealing with Hiring Managers and Head of Operations, and contacting candidates. You will work closely with our Internal Recruiter and Head of HR.

You will be responsible for leading the day to day recruitment within Rapport and strengthen Rapport’s strategic intent through attracting exceptional talent, from frontline to unit management positions. As the Recruitment Coordinator, you will be the central point of information for all external and internal candidates and recruitment suppliers. 

As the role is part of Rapport’s People Team, you will also support with ad-hoc HR processes, including new mobilisations and TUPE.

Main Responsibilities

This is an opportunity for you to start an in-house recruitment career within a blue-chip international organisation. The initial focus for this role is on UK & Ireland.

You will provide an end-to-end recruitment service for Rapport and their clients and be proactive to drive a reduction in time to hire whilst improving the quality of hire of the recruitment needs and the candidate journey. You will be leading initiatives that achieve excellence.

You will develop strong relationships with key Rapport stakeholders and be proactive in searching for candidates as necessary, whilst organising and running regular assessment centres and building relationships with colleges and universities.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have proven high quality candidate recruitment experience gained within agency or in-house.
  • Have excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ideally have operational experience or background working within the customer service industry.
  • Have Recruitment events / assessment centre organising experience.
  • Be able to spot exceptional talent.
  • Be able to create and build on strong client and candidate relationships.
  • Be creative with a passion to innovate.
  • Be a team player, who has a positive and 'stronger together’ attitude.
  • Be results oriented, both financially and relating to quality candidate placement.
  • Ideally be qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Be articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a high degree of autonomy with passion and drive to innovate and positively influence business decisions.
  • Be up to speed on GDPR compliance.
  • Bring D&I awareness into the role.
  • Have experience with Applicant Tracking System and/or implementing this system.
  • Ideally have experience in Talent Planning.
  • Be a team player with ability to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues within the wider Rapport team.
  • Be sharing best practice and sourcing innovation.
  • Have a keen interest in technology and social media is welcome.

In order to succeed in this role you will need to be adaptable in your approach to finding talent. You must be able and willing to juggle high volume recruitment needs, alongside providing an exceptional service to our clients and operational managers.
