Receptionist (PMR) Mon-Fri

Job Introduction

We are recruiting a Receptionist to join our team at our client's offices on Pall Mall, centrally situated and well connected to three major Underground stations (Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, St. James’s Park). This is a 40 hour/week role, working Monday to Friday with shifts 08:00 – 17:00 or 09:30 – 18:30, with a requirement for flexibility. 

You will also receive free lunch options on duty.

Role Responsibility

•   Meeting and greeting guests and visitors
•    Operating a busy switchboard, directing calls and taking messages and ensuring correct details are passed on
•    Managing a busy and sometimes complicated meeting room diary for 11 meeting rooms.
•    Liaising with the secretarial staff and the catering team.
•    Managing the catering bookings, making sure they run smoothly; issuing weekly menus.
•    Liaising with the IT/AV department to ensure meetings rooms have the correct equipment available.
•    Making sure the reception area and the meetings rooms are kept immaculate.
•     •    Accepting deliveries and liaising with the mailroom. 
•    Liaising with the building manager assisting with any ad-hoc issues.
•    Working closely with Security and dealing with issues in their absence (passes/contractors etc)
•    Responding to guests’ ad-hoc requests and exceeding guest expectations

The Ideal Candidate

•    A friendly, flexible, “can do” attitude is an absolute must.
•    Willing to go the extra mile.
•    An understanding of the demands of working in a prestigious, corporate environment and able to see the bigger picture and understand the role that Reception can play in that.
•    Somebody who takes pride in providing a first class service, has a strong customer service ethic; nothing is too much trouble.
•    Highly professional, unflappable, always smiling and calm no matter what.
•    Impeccably presented, smartly dressed and well groomed.
•    Responsive and efficient, reliable and punctual.
•    Strong team player.
•    Good IT skills; Microsoft Outlook essential 
•    Understanding of basic meeting room Audio Visual equipment for meetings (VC/Skype/Loop up/laptop presentations and screen share) is preferred.
•    Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English essential.
