Meeting and Events Administrator (ACMMEC01)

Job Introduction

Due to business growth in Rapport, we have a fantastic opportunity an Meetings & Events Administrator to join our team in Manchester.

More than just a Building, Circle Square office is Manchester’s most unique place to work and collaborate, bringing together some of the most innovative retailers and leisure operators.

It is a unique green space, which facilitates a range of pop-up food and retail units, shops, bars, restaurants and a hotel with an onsite boutique bootcamp fitness studio.

Located in the cosmopolitan district of Manchester city centre, with excellent commuter options, such as multi-story carpark and multiple public transport links.

Role Responsibility

Your role will be to assist in the duties of the Events Department maximizing bookings by delivering a delightful yet efficient booking service; our Events Administrators are meticulous at administration ensuring that every detail of a customer’s booking has been accurately recorded following established procedures.

Main responsibilities in this role are to plan and manage events;

  • ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with clear information and that they are accurately and promptly represented on the system.
  • exercise effective listening to capture relevant information and provide a premium experience for the guest.
  • anticipate project needs, discerns work priorities, and meets deadlines with little supervision.
  • ensure the smooth running of events on the day.
  • answer questions regarding the event space, its uses, technical offers and audio/visual capabilities.
  • work directly with on-site team to prepare and manage events from start to finish, including troubleshooting, equipment problems, and solving technical issues.
  • manage site visits.
  • assist with the coordination and production of all key events.


You will need to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of operations within the business including catering options, AV room specs, building access.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within reservation and/or events operation
• Proficient in business administration
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills on all levels
• Strong time management skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• High level of attention to detail
