Job Introduction
We’re looking for a confident and creative Meeting & Events Assistant to join our team at a prestigious client site in the City of London. The client is a global leader in cloud-based technology, where innovation and collaboration shape every part of the workday.
Working with a dedicated team of 30 enthusiastic professionals, committed to delivering five-star service every day. Under the supervision of the Operations Lead, the Meetings & Events Assistant plays a key role in supporting meeting room and event coordinators, as well as guest services ambassadors, in overall event and hospitality coordination.
This role demands strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to anticipate and exceed the needs of hosts and guests. By upholding high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency, the Meetings & Events Assistant helps create a welcoming and memorable experience at Salesforce.
Contract type: Full-time, 12-months FTC
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM)

Main Responsibilities
- Log event service cases to ensure relevant teams.
- Assist the event lead with event setup, resets, and event operations.
- Maintain and update trackers to keep the hospitality team informed of all upcoming events and requirements.
- Oversee meet & greet/guest registration, ensuring event volunteers follow
procedures and comply with guidelines. - Assist guests and vendors with the visitor management sign-in process, ensuring
mandatory NDAs are completed. - Create event materials such as name badges, tent cards, and other necessary
items. - Coordinate event deliveries and collections (including stock control), ensuring external vendors are registered through the correct channels.
- Provide support to the guest services team by covering front desks and adhering to their procedures when needed.
- Assist meeting room coordinators with room bookings and catering orders in case
of absences. - Plan and manage small, low-impact events.
The ideal candidate will:

- Have at least 2 years of experience in hospitality or events, covering both admin and operational duties
