Guest Service Ambassador - Belfast (DLGSAB)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Guest Services Ambassador to join our team at one of Rapport’s most prestigious contracts based in Belfast. 

The client is one of the Big Four leading audit and accounting firms, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service for our esteemed clientele. 

The Guest Services Ambassador is a “hands on” and proactive role that requires a character that actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the overall business environment. The role will specialise in client experience, from the meet and greet, to reception, to meeting rooms and hospitality.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts covering core service hours between 7 AM and 7 PM. with flexibility to work outside of these hours as per business needs)

Main responsibilities

  • Warmly greeting and escorting guests to their destinations, ensuring smooth transitions and a welcoming atmosphere
  • Setting up meeting rooms to required standards, including food and beverage arrangements, and verify cleanliness and readiness
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service quality and innovate offerings
  • Addressing guest enquiries professionally and promptly, in-person or through phone/email
  • Maintaining cleanliness in all office areas and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure a presentable environment
  • Developing knowledge of clients to exceed expectations and gain feedback for service improvement
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels for consumables, ensuring availability at all times
  • Working across various areas (Reception, Hospitality, Dining, etc.) as needed, adapting to business requirements
  • Ensuring all office areas are consistently tidy and organised

The ideal candidate will

  • Have a minimum of one year of in-person customer service experience in a high-end hospitality establishment (e.g., luxury hotel or fine dine restaurant)
  • Be an up-beat team player with integrity and a can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate passion about delivering great service and taking responsibility for their contribution to the team
  • Have excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of the team and create rapport with key stakeholders
  • Be innovative, proactive, flexible, adaptable in their approach, results-oriented with great attention to detail and the ambition to motivate and develop the team and the self
