Front of House Manager

Job Introduction

Are you a natural leader with a passion for hospitality and operational excellence? We’re looking for a dynamic Guest Service Manager to oversee an energetic team and deliver an exceptional workplace experience for one of our prestigious clients.

This is a key role where you’ll act as the first point of contact for visitors and guests, blending warm, professional hospitality with smooth operational management. You’ll also support the Client Services Manager, driving innovation, team engagement, and a seamless guest journey.

What the role involves:

  • Lead and inspire a team of 28 across Front of House Ambassadors, Central Reservations, Community Ambassadors, and an Events team.

  • Ensure every visitor enjoys a world-class welcome, with polished presentation and flawless service.

  • Support the Client Services Manager with strategic initiatives, reporting, and day-to-day operations.

  • Oversee all Front of House operations, including rotas, payroll submissions, visitor systems, meeting rooms, and events logistics.

  • Partner closely with internal teams, including Facilities, Security, and external vendors, to maintain a seamless guest experience.

  • Develop, coach, and mentor team members through appraisals, performance reviews, and ongoing support.

  • Uphold HSEQ and company standards, maintaining accurate SOPs and operational documentation.

  • Act as a key brand ambassador for both our company and our client.

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality corporate events and conferences — previous events and conference experience is essential.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing a Guest Services, Front of House, or Corporate Reception team (ideally in professional services, 5-star hospitality, or corporate events).

  • Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering corporate events and conferences.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with a genuine passion for people.

  • Exceptional organisational ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to manage multiple priorities.

  • Skilled in operational planning, reporting, and scheduling.

  • Professional appearance, hospitality flair, and a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

  • Emotional intelligence and flexibility to work across different teams, stakeholders, and client needs.

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, shift rota with some flexibility required
Locations: London & Glasgow
