Floor Concierge

Job Introduction

We have an exciting opening for a Floor Concierge (Lounge Concierge) to join our team in the heart of the City of London. You will be part of the Rapport team, based at our client's beautiful offices near Bank Station. This is a key role, and we are looking for a person who can build strong relationship with stakeholders in the client's business lounge. You will be responsible for looking after requests, activities, and meeting room bookings for the space, checking meeting rooms and refreshment areas, general housekeeping and set ups for events but also IT/AV support for attendees. You will also be making sure company health and safety procedures are followed by employees and visitors in that space.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, shift rota basis between 8 AM and 6 PM, 10-hour shifts with the option to have off up to two Fridays off per month. Overtime may be required on occasion for events out of these hours).

Salary: £35,000 - £36,000

Main responsibilities

  • This is a hands-on, proactive position suited to someone who actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiencies and elevate the overall client experience.
  • You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Business Lounge, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment while delivering an outstanding, personalised experience for every guest.
  • You will provide support to clients with any IT or connectivity issues they may encounter, ensuring minimal disruption to their visit.
  • Taking full ownership of the space, you will ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standard in line with documented guidelines, promptly reporting any concerns or risks to the relevant department.
  • You will be expected to respond calmly and effectively to last-minute requests and changes, while coordinating the timely booking and delivery of portable equipment, hospitality, and other services to the appropriate spaces.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships is central to this role. You will work closely with team members, service providers, hosts, and clients, acting as a seamless link between individuals and the right environment or team member.
  • You will be expected to attend all wider team meetings, events, training sessions, departmental cross-training, and team-building activities.
