Job Introduction

We are looking for a Fine Dining Host to join our team at one of Rapport’s most prestigious contracts. The client is one of the Big Four leading audit and accounting firms, and you will play a crucial role in delivering award winning service to our clients and their guests, both meeting and greeting and involved in planning operations.

Joining a team of five, you will be responsible for creating and executing unparalleled private fine dining experiences for high-profile guests within our office environment. This role demands exceptional culinary skills, impeccable service, and meticulous attention to detail. The Fine Dining Events Host serves as the primary liaison for all high-profile bookings, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Thursday with flexibility as per business needs. 10-hour shifts, from 11:30 AM – 10 PM).

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide discreet, attentive, and personalised service to VIP guests and manage cloakroom.
  • Set and maintain elegant dining environments, including table settings and ambiance.
  • Anticipate and fulfil guest needs proactively, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Coordinate the service of food and beverages, ensuring perfect timing.
  • Work collaboratively as a team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all inquiries related to reservations and communicate effectively to the rest of the team.
  • Manage end-to-end booking process and act as a point of contact for reservation enquiries.
  • Maintain a comprehensive booking calendar and database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

The ideal candidate will

  • Ideally have proven experience in a F&B environment either in luxury hotels or corporate.
  • Demonstrate strong client relationship management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining long-term partnerships.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Be available to work flexible hours.
