Fine Dining Frontline Manager (KPFDM)

Job Introduction

We are very excited to be recruiting a Fine Dining Manager to join Rapport at our client based at our clients’ offices in Canary Wharf. Our client is a multinational professional services network, and one of the Big Four accounting organisations and you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering 5-star service.

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday (flexible within the business needs). 

Main responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of client journey, including: reservations, hosting, client relations and feedbacks
  • Managing the daily operations in the exclusive client entertainment area, working closely with our colleagues at Restaurant Associates to provide excellent service to the Partners and VIP clients
  • Managing performance, development, and engagement of a team of 4 Rapport Ambassadors
  • Ensuring all standards, procedures and processes are upheld, including designing and delivering training to new and existing team members, recruitment and onboarding
  • Liaising with Executive Assistance, VIP bookers, and clients to create memorable experiences
  • Collaborating with other Rapport Managers on-site to support the wider Rapport team
  • Creating rotas, scheduling training, reporting and other duties
  • Completing audits and reports to give in depth insight into team performance and client activities

The ideal candidate will

  • Share our Rapport values: Create Rapport, Be Brilliant, Innovative Spirit, Walk Tall and Stronger Together
  • Have at least two years of team management, operations and customer service experience in a high-end professional environment, e.g., five star development, restaurant, or corporate background
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Fine Dining restaurant operations
  • Be welcoming, energetic, highly organised, excellent in planning, confident, innovative, passionate about service
  • Have excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of the team and create rapport with key stakeholders
  • Display operational effectiveness and ensure all standards are adhered to
  • Be experienced in stakeholder management, including client, team and peers
  • Have knowledge of all HR procedures and protocol
  • Have great interpersonal skills, a natural ability to positively influence business decisions, and the ability to act with integrity
  • Be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to be proactive and act with intuition
