Duty Manager (Corporate)

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager who will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service at one of our high-profile client contracts in London. 

As the Duty Manager, you will be the main point of contact for our clients, their employees and their guests. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the operation within our client’s offices / workspace.

The services we provide for our clients include reception, management of meeting rooms, call services including switchboard / helpdesk and concierge services. We also provide many of our clients with Duty Managers / Community Managers, a role similar to that of a Duty Manager within a five-star hotel.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Being the main point of contact for our clients. 
  • Delighting our clients, their employees and their guests by proactively ensuring a smooth and seamless office experience from the moment they arrive, whilst they are working in the office and through to their departure. 
  • Dealing with client requests and issues in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, ensuring all business requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally. 
  • Hosting sales visits and show rounds with potential future clients.
  • Communicating effectively with other departments and service providers, creating a ‘one team’ approach.
  • Adopting a flexible and adaptable approach at all times when dealing with ad-hoc duties as required.  

The successful candidate will;

  • Have experience in a direct client facing environment (luxury hospitality or hotel, serviced offices and / or flexible / co-working workspaces).
  • Have the passion and drive to deliver the very highest levels of customer service. 
  • Have the versatility and ability to manage a range of projects simultaneously. 
  • Have great interpersonal skills, an outgoing and vibrant personality.
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Have experience or understanding of basic AV technology.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and professional presentation. 
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and act both proactively and intuitively. 

The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive salary package plus a range of staff benefits, including pension, store discounts and life assurance. Most of our clients also offer a bonus scheme based on great performance, and have in house gyms and other staff amenities. 

Working hours are typically 8 hours per day, 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday, on rotating team shifts, usually no earlier than 7am and no later than 7pm. Our teams do not work weekends or Bank Holidays.
