Job Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Receptionist to join the Rapport team at our client's office in London!

This hands-on role is perfect for an energetic, people-facing individual who takes pride in delivering top-class customer service. Joining an established team of three, the successful candidate will be expected to uphold the highest standards across all aspects of the guest experience. With a heavy focus on consistency and quality, there will be plenty of opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues and wider departments, building strong, lasting relationships along the way.

You will join a dynamic and highly experienced team across two locations in London and Bristol.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; on a shift rota basis between 7 AM – 7PM)

Main responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of meeting rooms and hospitality services, ensuring all spaces are fully stocked, immaculately presented, and maintained to a five-star standard.
  • Coordinate with the hospitality team to arrange refreshments for meetings, client visits, and internal events, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and a polished presentation always.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the office, managing the reception desk with poise, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming manner that reflects the prestige of the business.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries with efficiency and discretion, directing them to the appropriate departments while always upholding strict confidentiality.
  • Coordinate the booking, setup, and upkeep of meeting rooms, ensuring each space is prepared to exact specifications, including room layout, AV equipment, and refreshments and promptly reset to an impeccable standard between meetings.
  • Greet clients, visitors, and VIP guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring an outstanding first impression that aligns with the organisation's reputation for excellence.
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures in line with security protocols, notify hosts of arrivals promptly, and provide attentive assistance and guidance throughout each visit to ensure a seamless, comfortable experience.
  • Maintain an acute awareness of the pace and priorities of a high-profile, client-facing environment, anticipating needs proactively and adapting swiftly to last-minute changes with composure and attention to detail.
  • Support the wider team in upholding consistent service standards across all front-of-house operations, contributing to a culture of excellence, discretion, and seamless delivery.
