Corporate Receptionist - Manchester

Job Introduction

This is a very exciting opportunity to join our high performing team at one of our corporate offices in Manchester city centre.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional Receptionist with experience within a luxury hotel, premium airline or a corporate environment. 

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of £22,340.32 plus a range of staff benefits, including pension, store discounts and life assurance. 

Working hours are typically 8 hours per day, 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday, on rotating team shifts, between 8.00 AM – 6.00 PM, which may be subject to change depending on the client’s business. Our teams do not work weekends or Bank Holidays. 

We empower all of our Receptionists to do everything they can to wow our guests and ensure a seamless and personalised guest experience.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Providing a warm and engaging welcome to guests at reception.
  • Proactively dealing with guest requests in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, ensuring all business requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally. 
  • Creating innovative ways to personalise our clients' experience. 
  • Escorting guests to their meeting rooms or required destination within the building.
  • Handling all external and internal calls and emails in a professional manner. 
  • Communicating effectively with other departments, service providers and our client, creating a ‘one team’ approach to delight our guests.
  • Adopting a flexible and adaptable approach at all times when dealing with ad hoc duties as required. 
  • Reviewing, amending and booking meeting room reservations.
  • Completing back of house tasks including security handovers, stocks and supplies, and ensuring all visitors' areas are presentable at all times. 
  • Completing daily administrative duties to ensure the success and smooth running of the front of house operation and looking for innovative ways to engage our visitors and create a memorable experience.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have front of house experience in a luxury hotel, premium airline or a corporate environment. 
  • Have the passion, drive and attention to detail to deliver the very highest levels of customer service. 
  • Have great interpersonal skills, an outgoing and vibrant personality.
  • Demonstrate an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Understand professional etiquette and have the emotional intelligence to engage with the visitors appropriately.
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and act both proactively and intuitively.
