Corporate Receptionist (CWCR)

Job Introduction

Rapport is currently recruiting for a Corporate Receptionist to join our Rapport team, based in our high-profile client’s offices in Canary Wharf. Our client has multiple buildings within the area, and you will play a crucial part in overseeing the Guest Services and Reception areas.

This is the ideal role for someone who has an incredible ability to spark immediate Rapport with the guests arriving to the building. You will be an integral part of a highly professional team focused on delivering the highest levels of client care, outstanding service and memorable experiences to all internal employees, clients, and directors. It is an exciting opportunity where no two days are the same!

This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week), covering the core service hours from 7 AM to 7 PM from Monday to Friday, on a shift rota basis as per client’s needs.

Although this is a static role, the candidate needs to have flexibility in shift patterns and the ability to cover other office locations within walking distance, depending on last minute business needs.

Main Responsibilities

Although role content may vary, the main responsibilities within these roles are:

  • Providing office, reception, and floor management cover to several locations across London
  • Welcoming, meeting, greeting, and registering guests at the main reception 
  • Proactively dealing with guest requests in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, ensuring all business requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Handling all external and internal calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Reporting of all facility-related issues, including health and safety, and following company service and H&S standards at all times

  • Be adaptable and flexible, creative and proactive, organised and detail-oriented, process-driven, and resourceful with a can-do attitude
  • Have excellent time management and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Have an outgoing personality and be able to easily build rapport with key stakeholders (internal, external and VIPs)
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Display excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably have previous experience in front-of-house within a luxury hotel, premium airlines, or a corporate business environment
