Community Manager (BLSCM)

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Community Manager to work for Rapport, based at our clients amazing portfolio of buildings in the City of London. 

Role Responsibility

Main Responsibilities

  • Be instrumental in creating a collaborative community environment amongst all our customers, clients and support services.
  • Achieve excellent day to day ‘guest’ services, ensuring all customers are supported in a professional manner, building strong relationships and meeting defined procedures.
  • Ensure that the building is fully operational and processes are running smoothly at all times.
  • Identify the needs of potential (and current) members and recommend tailored solutions responsive to their needs.
  • Proactively deal with enquiries and requests in person, via telephone or email, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor the standards of service delivery to ensure excellence and consistency at all times.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates to the relevant people.
  • Plan and organise your work so that it is efficient and effective and allows service to be delivered promptly and reliably.
  • Deal with any complaints or concerns and liaise with relevant departments in a timely, efficient manner, escalating to management accordingly and ensuring it has been documented appropriately.
  • Exercise discretion in guiding prospective members, including possibly gatekeeping where business may not be in the interests of the greater community.
  • Develop strong working relationships with all departments to ensure a smooth and professional service is offered to British Land customers.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and the management team, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communication
  • Support new customer viewings of floor space, through demonstrating expertise and pride in the British Land brand (sub brand to be confirmed) and your working environment.
  • Organise and/or supervise in-building events.
  • Ensure compliance with house rules, and intercede or escalate issues should they arise.
  • Advise and support building services with a high level of product knowledge and innovative thinking

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have a great personality/ ability to work as part of a team and on their own. Ideally, the candidate should have experience in facilities or Community Management. It is a fast pace working environment, but in amazing team and we are looking for someone with great personality and willingness to learn.
