Audio Visual Coordinator - Croydon

Job Introduction

Rapport is currently recruiting for an Audio Visual Coordinator for our Croydon office. We empower our Coordinator to do everything they can to wow our guests and ensure a seamless and personalised guest experience.

Responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Room booking coordination for audio visual, Webex, Telepresence and video conference requests.
  • Meet, greet and assist clients with any technical issues in the meeting rooms/event spaces.
  • Meeting room and event space set up in line with the requested layout.
  • Daily room checks, reporting any maintenance issues with contractors, schedule equipment repairs with relevant parties.
  • Daily email and telephone correspondence with room bookers, ensuring the standards are in place prior to the meeting/event.
  • Communicating and effectively working with other departments and service providers, creating a ‘one team’ approach to delight our guests.
  • Adopting a flexible and adaptable approach at all times when dealing with ad hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the technical know-how and capabilities on audio, video and other media services equipment, such as audio/video conferencing systems, laptop, TV, projectors, HD cameras, etc.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language, both in verbal and written communication.
  • Be immaculate in their professional and personal presentation.
  • Be highly organised and have an eye for detail.
  • Have great interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to act pro-actively and intuitively.
  • Be able to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive salary package plus a range of staff benefits, including pension, store discounts and life assurance.

Working hours are typically 8 hours per day, 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday, on rotating team shifts, usually no earlier than 7am and no later than 7pm. Our teams do not work weekends or Bank Holidays.
